It’s early April, the kind of morning with soft sun and a breeze that smells faintly of magnolias from Boulevard Saint-Germain. I’m holding a warm cup of coffee, trying to sketch it—not for art’s sake, but because I forgot my journal and needed something to focus on other than my existential spiral.

It wasn’t really about the coffee. It was about the rhythm of heels on cobblestones, spoons tapping ceramic, the quiet choreography of strangers going about their lives. I wasn’t just drawing a cup—I was tracing a moment.
